S44 Team

Meet Praisey, Scrum Master & Lifelong Learner

Can you tell us a little about yourself?

I am a Scrum Master based in the Washington, D.C. area.

I was born and raised in India where I kicked off my career with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Being a career oriented and highly motivated individual, I then decided to pursue Master’s Degree in the U.S., to add a cherry on top. Separately, I also pursued my Master of Science Degree in Project Management from Harrisburg University of Science & Technology. In addition to my commitment to building Agile teams at S44, I enjoy traveling and cooking.

What influenced you to pursue your respective career path (design, engineering, project management, hr/recruiting, etc.).

Since the time I was introduced to the world of Information Technology, I was eager to learn anything and everything about it which made me more passionate to learn software engineering. My Project Management background influenced me to practice various frameworks in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to contribute to strategic objectives of any given organization.

What (or who) inspires you in this career, or in general?

The ability to contribute significantly to a project, to deliver a successful product, promoting myself to be the voice of the customer and to experience firsthand transformation of the team members from a group to committed team players, inspires, and motivates me the most.

What is one advice you would give to another woman pursuing a career in your field?

Clarity of purpose and commitment are the most critical factors in your quest to become an effective project leader.

When you dream about future opportunities or possibilities – what do you aspire towards?

In the future, I see myself continuing in leadership and strategy at the portfolio level and beyond, where I will aspire to successfully strategize portfolio, program, and project goals by developing mission-critical business objectives and long-term plans for that deliver on our company's vision.
