What are your credentials/past experience for working in your position?
Graduating with a degree in Marketing and pursuing a career in HR/Talent has set me up for looking at Talent Acquisition through a creative lens. I advocate for continuous improvement, whether through processes, candidate experience, or our development. I recently pursued my Certified Professional (CP) designation through the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) to better serve my team and the talent field.
Previous to S44, I worked for a local Private Equity Firm and a Health System in recruiting for various fields. I have a “spidey-sense” for people and teams, leading me to pursue Talent continuously.
What do you like about working at S44?
I love that S44 is fearless and forward-thinking, and it’s actively promoted in the culture. I’ve always found the Tech industry intriguing, so I felt this was an excellent opportunity to jump in with the professionals and learn from them.
What’s your background?
I grew up in Greenfield, Minnesota, and still reside in the state. Does anybody have some hot dish?
My dad had a profound influence on my life and who I am today – from a young age, my father instilled what it means to work hard and do it for the benefit of those you can impact. He is the last person to accept praise and the first to volunteer. So I like to mirror my approach in life after the model he presented.
What are the values that drive you?
No matter the challenge or how technical the solution is, Creative Energy is at the heart of finding that solution. I thrive in an environment that allows for creativity to be at the front of problem-solving. I also believe that if everyone is humble in their approach to work and has a strong work ethic, we can achieve great things together.
