Julian Offermann

Co-Founder & CEO

What are your credentials and past experience for working in your position?

Growing up in Germany, I took plenty of opportunities to grow my knowledge in Software Engineering.

Throughout my career, I’ve made sure that I understand the people I work with, what my clients expect, and developed my work ethic and values around being a people-first type of person.

I began my career as a Freelance Software Engineer and built my experience in the Automotive industry.

What do you like about working at S44?

Working at S44 has put me in a position where I can inspire people. My dream is to be a people-inspired leader for all things technology, and by working within the S44 team, I’ve achieved so much more than I could have imagined.

The culture here is humane, with realistic yet ambitious goals that have helped shape many great things and drive the business and the industry forward.

What’s your background?

I grew up in Munich, Germany, but moved to the US to pursue my business goals. My favorite food growing up was Wiener and any other type of German sausage.

As a child and a teenager, I spent my spare time on the stage, acting in a range of roles that helped cement my knowledge of people and what motivates them.

After being mentored by Alfred Peisl, I developed the mindset I still use for software engineering today.

What are the values that drive you?

I was born into a liberal family and raised to have an open mind and advocate for equality and freedom of expression.

I aim to positively impact society through software engineering by focusing on transforming industries through an inner need to be innovative and “cutting edge.”
