What are your credentials and past experience for working in your position?
At S44, my role has 3 core focus areas: our creative offering, our brand, and how we communicate.
What prepared me for this moment is a diverse career in public relations, communications, marketing, and advertising - and a passion for brand and creative.
I began my career in communications and public affairs. I then spent most of my professional life working for the global Ad agency, J Walter Thompson (JWT), where I worked alongside talented creatives and other disciplines in delivering award-winning digital and off-line experiences. I am well-versed in brand strategy, having led engagements for General Motors, Northrop Grumman, GE Digital and others.
I am passionate about storytelling and believe that the power of brand is especially important in technology and when creating digital experiences.
What do you like about working at S44?
We are building something special and the sky is the limit.
I work with passionate people who strive to exceed expectations and are accountable for their contributions. It feels very inspiring and collaborative. I also get to design a strategy for our brand and then build a global team to sustain that vision. As a result, this runway to establish where we go as a brand and how we communicate our story fuels my creativity and motivation daily.
I also benefit from sitting at the intersection of creative and technology and working closely with my engineering colleagues to determine how to shape our joint offering and what we want to set our sights on - next.
What’s your background?
I grew up in Belgrade, Serbia (then, former Yugoslavia).
I was raised between the bustling urban backdrop of Belgrade and the tranquil Dalmatian coast of Croatia.
I moved to the U.S. when I was 12 (to the Washington DC area), and during college, I studied and lived in Madrid, Spain, for a part of my studies.
What are the values that drive you?
Integrity, kindness, and hard work.
I believe that the energy and effort you put into the world matter, and how you make people feel effects them beyond their work lives. I value human connection and believe that when people develop a comfort level with one another, they can create magic.
I also live by the "Golden Rule" of treating others as I would like to be treated (in good times or bad).
